A POPULAR Italian restaurant chain has re-opened after a £750,000 refurbishment.

The Pasta Di Piazza Italiana eateries in Newcastle and Stone have both received a facelift, which will also see the creation of additional full and part-time jobs.

The new look is the brainchild of Staffordshire firm DV Architects Limited, whose senior interior designer, Samantha White, has pulled together the plans for both sites.

She said: “We’ve worked to create a really fresh, stylish, rustic, yet relaxing environment at Pasta Di Piazza Italiana, which should deliver both a professional and welcoming experience for diners.
